Policies & Guidelines

Policies & Guidelines at the School of Equipping are as follows:

Dress code:  For classroom participation there is no formal dress code. We ask that individuals exercise professionalism, modesty and be respectful to others.

Cell Phones: All cell phones should be on silent or vibrate. Please refrain from texting during class. In the event of the need to take a call or text someone, please excuse yourself from the class.

 Laptops, notebooks and recording devices: No restrictions

 Breaks: Depending on the duration of the class, there will be a 10 min break.

 Food & Beverages: Snacks (chips, crackers, fruit, granola bars etc.) are permitted in the classrooms.  Please refrain from foods that have strong odors. Hot and cold beverages are permitted. Please drink from containers with lids, tops or straws. (Please throw out all waste in the trash)

 Attendance: Each student should arrive to class at least 10 minutes prior to start time. A student is considered late when the class begins. Students who have more than two unexcused absences will be required to take the class over.

 Children: Childcare is NOT provided by AOTBM. Youth ages 9-18 can sit in the lounge area. Children under the age of nine (9) cannot be left unattended. Please make arrangement prior to class.

 Paper, notepads, pens and supplies: It is the responsibility of each student to bring their own supplies.

Safety & Security: It is the responsibility of each student to guard their possessions. Students assume all risks associated with their personal belongings.

 Harassment: disrespect towards other students, intimidation and bullying will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate release from the School of Ministry.

Conduct: professional and Christ-like conduct shall be maintained at all times. Students who  are disruptive, cause division, discord or display actions of malice will be expelled from the class. The Dean of AOTBM School of Equipping will meet with the student to determine further course of action. Expelled students forfeit all fees paid up to the time of dismissal from the school.
